This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies our marketing website (supahit.com) uses, why, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which covers our broader data practices.

1. What Cookies We Use

Our marketing website uses exactly one category of cookie:

  • Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — first-party cookies with a 2-year expiration, used to distinguish unique visitors and understand anonymized usage patterns (which pages are visited, how people navigate the site).

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, cross-site tracking technologies, or any third-party tracking beyond Google Analytics.

The SupaHit mobile app and VDojo web platform do not use cookies at all. They use Supabase authentication tokens stored in your device's secure/local storage purely to keep you signed in — not for tracking.

2. Analytics Cookies Are Opt-In

Google Analytics never loads until you say yes. On your first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Decline before any analytics cookie is set:

  • Accept — Google Analytics loads, and the choice is remembered in your browser (via localStorage) so you won't be asked again on future visits.
  • Decline — Google Analytics never loads, and your decline is remembered the same way.

This is currently a single accept/decline choice covering analytics as a whole — we don't yet offer separate toggles for different cookie categories, since analytics is the only category we use.

3. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser or browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a standing decline: the banner never appears, and Google Analytics never loads for you at all. GPC is honored automatically — you don't need to do anything else.

4. Changing Your Choice

Your accept/decline choice is stored in your browser's localStorage for this site, under the key sh-cookie-consent. To be asked again (for example, if you want to change your answer), clear your browser's site data/storage for supahit.com, or use your browser's "Clear cookies and site data" option for this domain. We don't currently have an in-page "change my preferences" control — if that would be useful to you, let us know at the email below.
